Ken is the President and Founder of Tenzing Insurance Strategies, and he has over 27 years of experience in the life insurance industry.  Prior to founding his own firm in 2006, Ken worked for ten years with M Financial Group member firms in New York City and Boston.  Before that, Ken worked as an agent for Connecticut Mutual Life and as a consultant for Mercer Consulting in their New York headquarters.

Ken is very active in industry and community organizations. He is a member of the M Financial Government Affairs Committee and an active member of Finseca (formerly AALU). He served for 6 years on the Board of Directors of the Boston Estate Planning Council, where he also chaired several committees.  His is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and has also served on the board of directors of the Boston chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He is a member of the Professional Advisors Leadership Council for the Foundation for MetroWest, and he is a past member of the Boston Foundation’s Professional Advisor Committee.

Ken graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1990, and for several years he has been a member of the Finance Advisory Board of the URI College of Business. He holds the designations of Accredited Estate Planner®, Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
Ken, his wife and three children live in Dover, MA.
